There is almost NO chance for ALGAE OIL to survive as a
viable Transportation fuel for our future. Perhaps with
the HEALTH FOODS. (I make this key statement on
30++ years of related R&D) BUT, if the
water is not flushed often enough. Which reminds us: what
happens to the water? when someone succeeds in increases
in production? Is the new bug safe for our streams, lakes
and rivers and reservoirs environment, or the Health Food.
What happens to our potable water. DO YOU WISH FOR a
st----g mess they had all summer last year in France?
This Depletes Oxygen, kills fish, and makes our waters
unfit for human and animal consumption?

Many people suggested that the abundant algae in sewers
be used for poultry feed.I suggest that this is
regrettable, because sewerage contains Cadmium; Toxic
minerals; chemicals; all of which may be more harmful than
current antibiotics on Poultry and other animals consumed
by the people. Other areas must be tested and certified as
pure and safe if used for human consumption There are
other cautions that should be instituted by the
Government, but for the time being this will suffice. As a
transportation
fuel maybe in twenty or 30 years

Again, Why not Algae Oil ? All the previous Algae Oils
Tests have been newly produced and used as produced and
no tests on Algae oil exposed to extreme heat or extreme
cold. If a National Emergency occurred, the oil was
stored for 6 or 12 months it might separate from the
KEROSINE mixture and form "Fur-Balls" it would easily clog
the fuel lines of All Engines including Commercial and
Military Aircraft And if we use 50% KEROSINE
CATALYST why do we use progressively expensive Algae Oil
instead of an cheaper BIO-OIL? green oil products? And,
if we use a flammable fuel. We will repeat the mistakes we
made in AFGHANISTAN in transporting FLAMMABLE liquid
fuels We will also be able to minimize the number of land
and air tankers. [Don'T forget, you area dealing with a
very tender water vegetable that will deteriorate within a
couple of hours if not at least partially dried.

Therefore: We must skip a few "next generation fuels" and
go to Direct HYDROGEN. The new DIRECT technology
is being tested by by SWISS & AMERICAN LABS
(SANDYA) and , act as a catalyst in a shorter time,
cheaper, more abundant, safer with new Fuel Cell and we
can produce the Catalyst within 15 months. and can be in
use on a very large scale
My current interest is to find an organization interested in creating FUEL to HYDROGEN for Automotive and Aviation fuels and from residues, new valuable Pharmaceutical raw ingredients.
In the interim, prior to the Hydrogen operations become accepted, the military operations for Drones, etc, the powdered ALGAE can be utilized by the DoD at prices well below $4- per dry pound. Algae fuel firms face moment of truth

(Preface)
SECOND Paragraph BBC Report)

Relating to Algae production for U.S, Canada: I could have explained to DARPA employs and others, that the outlook for LIQUID ALGAE MIXED WITH 50-60% KEROSINE and THEIR LACK EXPERTISE in LIQUID ALGAE would be HIGHLY LIMITED and QUESTIONABLE from a productive standpoint: as presented below:
I spent three decades in most related areas; Algae is, and was the rage of the day. but being a small Company with a great amount of technical production capability,it appears I was not acceptable.
Eventually, a number of distinguished advisory organizations and universities came to the conclusion that the Industry was too slow and not efficient enough to make a difference in national emergency. Even BBC weighted in with a report a few days ago as outlined in the next paragraph. As a whole, with minor exceptions, are just involved in research (at least 20,000 more speces to check) and some university groups are estimating another ten+ years or more to get into normalcy in production. Will they then come up with realistic, not projected delusionary prices??? There were a number of companies that were critical of the algae Industry because of long periods of research and very little production with outrageous prices. And only now is DoD re-evaluating the Billions spent on these projects. The maximum production of dry algae prior to 1960's was 100 Tons per year, now 50+ YEARS LATER, even the largest producers can double, tripple, or go to 600 Tons per year for the few with this type of capability, would it make a difference for the A/F or commercial vendors? WHERE IS THE
LOGIC???

Algae fuel firms face moment of truth As REPORTED BY BBC

Posted: 07 Dec 2011 01:21 AM PST
With the number of algae start-ups increasing around the world, it remains a harsh truth that none have been successful in producing fuel commercially and at scale. Several firms, including GreenFuel Technologies, have shut down. UK’s Carbon Trust’s algae programme was shut down after the Government decided to scrap non-performing programs. Practical issues in the industry seem to be taking its toll. Development has been largely slow and profits have been practically non-existent. With such issues hanging around, it remains to be seen how much longer it will take for the industry to become viable on a commercial scale. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15947205
New Low Cost JET FUEL Technology
by sternh
A Revolutionary Low Cost Aviation Fuel with Massive Production Capacities for J.V.or Partnering

We are a small company with a realistic annual potential of a Billion+ Dollar Business with Systems and Technology and most importantly our experimentation is behind us and only updates are required.

We are also at least 10 years ahead of the "PACK" in inexpensive Powdered Algae Aviation Fuel Technology in the U.S. and worldwide.

To date, unfortunately, billions have already been spent by DOD and private investors to develop high quality algae product with promise of great results, and 5+ years later the public is still waiting for commercial production.

It seems that the key is producing a good Quality Product; Large Enough Quantities to make a difference on a National basis; Inexpensive; Competitive; and sufficiently profitable to make the projects worth pursuing.

So far, less than a handful of exceptional companies have managed to produce limited finished product; at very high cost; and with limited opportunity to be competitive in the near or long term future.

My Question: Do we, as a country, have the luxury of waiting for many of the "Contestants" (many of whom are embracing techniques utilized for more than fifty years throughout the world) for perhaps another ten years without commercial success or with all the hype show limited results?

Our project did take THREE(3+) DECADES to develop, and at great expense. We started experimenting many years before anyone in this country seriously considered mass production for commercial use.

Not one Company, in the USA is at a level that can produce Powdered Aviation Fuel on a commercial level.

Our goal is to concentrate on our updates, conducted by a large Chemical Process Engineering Firm to prepare an EPC package with my assistance and start production within the time frame outlined in the next paragraph.

PLEASE NOTE: We are at the UPDATE stage and no longer EXPERIMENTAL. Most important is that after the second year of start up, we feel confident that our operations will be self sustaining for most expansions throughout the US.

We have the technology and systems to provide as much as 16,000,000 Mil. Pounds with the first project in 15 months and 2 BILLION Pounds by the sixth year.
(dry powdered fuel can be reconstituted into liquid fuel.)
